Kal’s Korner – Week of April 1, 2012

Week of April 1, 2012

Greetings in the Name of Jesus, Messiah and Lord

The Word:  Ps 1:1-3

“Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked

or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. 2 But his

delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night. 3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.” NIV

Take note we are into April 2012 reading schedule. Psalm 1 was for Sunday, April 1.

“Blessed” – Life comes from “delighting” in the Word of God…here is says, “day and night.”

The result:

  • “tree planted by streams of water.” (Watered. Refreshed. Nourished. Solidness to life, and healthy.)
  • “whose leaf does not wither.” (able to weather storms of life, emotions, spirit, physical, through connection with the Lord)
  • “Whatever he does prospers.” (promise of success in God’s terms, joy, fullness of life)

Pray now from the insights of this Scripture:

“ Dear Lord, thank you for your great blessings. Help me walk in truth with you and with all others. Increase in me the desire and ability to ground myself in your Word for my life. It is there that I find nourishment. Keep me from doubt and drought. Give success to all I do this day and in all I do may your name be lifted high and honored. Amen.”

Reminder:  Bring your bible to Easter Worship. Invite someone to join you in worship this week and Easter too – 6:30 – 8:00 – 9:30 – 11:00

Blessed in the Lord,

Pastor Kal
